10. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we do make changes, we will notify you in an appropriate manner:
- Posting the New Policy: We will post the updated Privacy Policy on our website (and in the app, likely via a link in settings). Each version will have an “Effective Date” at the top to indicate when it starts. You can see when it was last changed by that date.
- Notification: If changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. For example, we might display a notice within the app (a pop-up or banner) or send an email to the address on your account, informing you of the updated policy. We may do this before the changes take effect, especially if the changes involve new ways of using your data that might require your consent. Minor changes (like clarifications or grammatical fixes) might not merit an email, but major ones do. -Your Continued Use: Once the updated Privacy Policy is in effect, your continued use of Space App means you accept the changes. If you do not agree with a change, you should discontinue use of the platform and can request deletion of your data. We hope to never surprise you – our goal is any changes will be to improve clarity or enhance your rights, or because new features need explanation. We won’t reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent (e.g., we wouldn’t suddenly say “we now sell your data” – not happening). -Prior Versions: For transparency, we may keep prior versions accessible (like an archive of privacy policies) so you can see how things evolved. If you have a concern about a past commitment, we can refer back. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we’re protecting your information. It’s long (we know!), but we want everything to be clear.
