9. Children’s Privacy
Space App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in certain jurisdictions, or any age below the age of consent in your jurisdiction for data processing). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in these age groups. Our platform is oriented towards business and commerce (tech products, social commerce) which generally isn’t aimed at young kids, and our Terms of Service require users to be 18 or older (or have guardian consent if older than 13 but not 18). If you are under 13, please do not use Space App or provide any personal information to us. For Parents/Guardians: If you become aware that your child under the applicable age has provided us with personal information, please contact us at spaceapp@klabs.ltd. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child below the allowed age, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. In cases where a minor above 13 (but under 18) is using the platform with parental consent (for example, a 16-year-old budding tech reviewer on Space App with their parent’s permission), we treat their data with additional care. We encourage parents to supervise minors’ online activities. If such a minor influencer is discovered and we weren’t informed of their age, we may reach out to confirm parental consent or remove the account to comply with laws like COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act in the US) or similar. Our marketing and content aren’t directed at young children. If in the future we ever consider a feature involving younger audiences, we will update our practices and obtain necessary consents in accordance with applicable law.
